Every time I try to subscribe to a mod on the steam workshop, it doesn't show up in the launcher or download to my mods folder. Even if I launch the game and restart, it doesn't show up. Yeah i have this problem, was using mods just fine one day and apparently gone the next.

The mods are the only reason ive poured so many hours into the game not their stupid new species dlcs. If i wanted cool new species i would go to the workshop, if i wanted a new shipset i would go to the workshop, if i wanted new civics again i would go to the workshop. Just about time to wash my hands of this game for good.

Rebooting steam helps, since this isn't entire a paradox issue steam is known to be glitchy and it's reading the mods from a STEAM account.

Thi is a compatability issue, reset steam if you plan to do this. I've run into an issue some patches ago that current mods aren't downloading from workshop regarding Cities: Skylines.

Even if I unsub and resub to a mod I already have, nothing happens. Mods that I don't have already, seem to download just fine after I subscribe to them. Oh, and all of this is happening since a while back a bunch of the mods stopped working, basicly making the cities I have unplayable, they work fine now. But the mods aren't updating to newer versions, hence can't play my current cities, and well, I can't play with the mods either, since the old versions that I have, since no update download are unplayable, I'm kind of stuck.

Even tried reinstalling the game but nothing happened. So what to do? All drivers etc are up to date. Upvote 0. A friendly person over at steam forums helped me solve this. Seems like I needed to check the game cache. Sort of off the wall solution.
